About My Clients

I work with teens, young adults, and first-generation women who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or the pressure to “hold it all together.” My clients often juggle cultural expectations, family roles, and their own needs — and are ready to find balance and peace. Together, we create a safe, bilingual space to explore emotions, set boundaries, and begin healing with compassion and cultura.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with experience supporting teens, young adults, and first-generation women navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. My background includes community mental health and school-based counseling, where I learned how powerful it is for clients to feel truly seen and understood. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally affirming, and person-centered, blending techniques from CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. In sessions, I focus on creating a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your emotions, unpack generational patterns, and build skills to manage stress and reconnect with your sense of self. Healing is not about perfection — it’s about growth, compassion, and learning to care for yourself in ways that feel authentic and empowering.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in community, through connection, and by honoring where we come from. As a first-generation Latina therapist, I value creating a space where cultura, language, and identity are celebrated, not explained. I’m passionate about supporting mental health access for BIPOC and first-generation communities, especially those who’ve learned to be strong for everyone else. My work is guided by compassion, social justice, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and empowered to grow. I support movements that uplift marginalized voices and believe therapy can be an act of resistance — a way to reclaim your peace and write your own story. Outside of sessions, I find grounding in nature, music, and spending time with loved ones.
