My Background and Approach
I’m Ana, a relational psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in Los Angeles. My work centers connection, emotion, and identity, with a particular focus on how our relational histories shape the ways we move through the world. I specialize in supporting adults navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, questions of identity, and major life transitions. I also work affirmatively with clients exploring sexuality, intimacy, pleasure, and gender identity, and I am experienced in working with individuals who have a history of suicidal thinking or self-harm. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. My clinical training includes trauma-informed work with survivors of sexual violence, grief-focused care with children and families, and therapeutic work in medical and community settings. Across these experiences, I bring a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and relational lens to my work.
