About My Clients
My clients are often caregivers, professionals, or partners who’ve been holding everything together while feeling disconnected inside. Many are navigating trauma, anxiety, or neurodivergence and long for peace, purpose, and deeper connection. Whether you’re healing from the past or learning new patterns in relationships, therapy with me offers space to breathe and be seen.
My Background and Approach
I’m a resident clinical mental health counselor and founder of Aloha Therapy for Wellness in Fairfax, VA. My approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic mind-body therapy to help clients process trauma and regulate their nervous systems. Together, we’ll uncover patterns shaped by past experiences and gently build new ways of relating to yourself and others. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, neurodivergent identity, military and veteran support (and their families), and relationship issues. Sessions are collaborative, compassionate, and paced to your comfort — because therapy should feel like a safe exhale, not another demand.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when someone truly sees you—your truth, your history, and the parts of you that have carried more than they should. My work is guided by trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming values, rooted in the belief that every person deserves dignity and belonging. My path as an Army veteran, military spouse, and mother of neurodivergent children has taught me that resilience is rarely simple—it’s shaped by struggle, identity, and the courage to keep going. Therapy with me is grounded in presence, warmth, and the mind–body connection. The “Aloha” philosophy guides my practice with respect, compassion, and wholeness. This is a space where your pain is honored, and your potential is held with care. I’m here to walk beside you as you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be heard, understood, and reclaimed.
