About My Clients

I work with people with perfectionist and people pleasing tendencies, post graduate and graduate students navigating big life transitions and the anxieties that come with it, adults trying to heal from past trauma and attachment wounds and teens experiencing suicidal ideation. We can work together to stop unhelpful cycles or find new ways of coping.

My Background and Approach

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I've had direct experience working with children and adults in many different capacities in my career, from in-home case management and school based therapy to group and now private practice. I love social work and its focus on meeting people where they are at and those are the values I bring into my therapy practice. I've had extensive training in trauma, suicidal ideation, safety planning and gender affirming care letters. I utilize a variety of approaches like EMDR, CBT, Solution focused, but ultimately believe that the therapeutic relationship is most indicative part of therapeutic outcomes. You have to feel safe with your therapist in order to feel safe opening up about your unique challenges and vulnerabilities. This is why I encourage everyone to take up free consultations with myself and others to help you determine what works best for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone is capable of change in their lives and that being a human is messy at times! Right now it's especially hard to exist in a world that prioritizes funding wars over feeding and housing people. Outside of my work hours, I spend time with my two cats and my husband and enjoy going on hikes, practicing yoga, trying new restaurants and watching sports - currently excited for WNBA! I get a lot out of giving back to my community and have spent time volunteering for the International Institute of St Louis and Planned Parenthood.
