About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is looking for a supportive, genuine connection while gaining a better understanding of themselves and their experiences. You don't need to have everything figured out or even know where to begin. Whether you're navigating past experiences, current challenges, or simply wanting to feel more confident and at peace with yourself, my goal is to meet you where you are. Together, we'll identify your strengths, work through challenges, and develop meaningful tools.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including juvenile detention, residential care, mentoring programs, in-home services, and clinical therapy. These experiences have shaped my compassionate, individualized approach to care. I use evidence-based techniques while keeping therapy relaxed, genuine, and even fun at times. My goal is to create a comfortable space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of being a therapist, I'm a wife, mom, and someone who values family, faith, and meaningful connections. I enjoy hiking, running, spending time with loved ones, and putting together a good puzzle. Building genuine relationships is important to me, and I carry that same passion for connection into my work with clients. I love advocating for others, helping people feel heard, and supporting them through life's challenges. I'm also a Certified Adoption Investigator, completing home studies for families hoping to grow through adoption. Whether personally or professionally, I strive to lead with compassion, authenticity, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
