About My Clients
I work with adult and older adolescent clients facing challenges with major life changes, stressors, self-esteem issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and family conflict. I have a special interest in women's issues including infertility, pregnancy, and perinatal mood disorders.
My Background and Approach
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I adapt to fit your unique needs, never the other way around. I anchor myself in a person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive approach and then work forward from this base. I use a variety of tools from an eclectic mix of theories including mindfulness based CBT, DBT, humanistic, and solution-focused therapies. I am currently becoming certified in EMDR and will soon be working toward perinatal certification as well.
