About My Clients

You may look successful on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck inside. I work with high-functioning women, couples in distress, and individuals carrying trauma, burnout, panic, people-pleasing, or relationship pain. Many have tried therapy before but still feel stuck in the same patterns. My clients are often insightful, capable people who don’t need more advice—they need a deeper path forward.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and owner of The Nest Therapy & Wellness in Connecticut. My work focuses on helping clients create lasting change by addressing the root of symptoms rather than only managing them. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, relationship distress, emotional overwhelm, attachment wounds, and nervous system patterns that keep people stuck. My approach is warm, active, and experiential. I integrate EMDR, parts work, somatic therapy, attachment-based therapy, and insight-oriented work to help clients process unresolved experiences, shift core beliefs, and feel different—not just understand things intellectually. For couples, I help partners break painful cycles, improve emotional connection, and learn how to repair conflict in healthier ways. For individuals, therapy often becomes a place to finally exhale, understand yourself, and heal patterns that have followed you for years.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe symptoms often make sense when we understand the story beneath them. Anxiety, shutdown, overthinking, people-pleasing, conflict patterns, and emotional reactivity are not signs that you are broken—they are often protective responses shaped by life experiences. I believe healing happens in safe relationships, through honest self-understanding, and through approaches that involve both mind and body. I also believe therapy should feel human. You deserve more than sitting in a room talking in circles. You deserve a space where you feel seen, challenged, supported, and helped in a meaningful way. My goal is to create a therapy experience that feels deep, effective, and genuinely transformative.
