Psychologist in Charlotte, NC

About My Clients

In my work as a therapist, I see teens and young adults, age 13 to 35, who are facing all kinds of challenges like anxiety, depression, identity concerns, life transitions, perfectionism, and low self-esteem. I see clients of all sexual and gender identities. I provide psychological testing to those aged 10 to 65. Testing can answer diagnostic questions (e.g, Autism, ADHD, and other mental health diagnoses), as well as questions about why you feel stuck in a painful cycle and how to get out.

My Background and Approach

I earned my doctorate and master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis's APA-accredited Psy.D. program. I have specialized training in psychological testing, including experience teaching doctoral-level classes in personality assessment. Whether I am in my role as a therapist or doing psychological testing, I approach the work from the same perspective: you are more than just a list of symptoms or a diagnosis. You and I will work together to understand who you are beneath the surface and why you feel stuck in the same painful patterns. As a psychologist, I go beyond symptom checklists and coping tools, diving into the "why" and the "how." Working with me, relationship and trust come first. I have a fundamental respect for my clients and the vulnerability it takes for you to be here and ask for help. Let's do this together.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
