You don’t have to do it alone. I provide empowering, goal-oriented, personalized counseling for youth & adults seeking freedom from barriers and stressors. My methods focus on somatic experiencing, embodied healing from a collaborative, experiential approach through equine facilitated, walk & talk, and in person/telehealth. With locations in both Whatcom & Snohomish Counties, I have a tremendous amount of flexibility to meet you in a place that is most comfortable for you.

My Background and Approach

I am deeply dedicated to supporting your journey to coherence, empowerment, joy, and hope. My methods focus on a somatic experiencing, embodied, neuro-experiential lens and my therapeutic approach is interactive and collaborative, utilizing the natural living world and your connection to it as a guide towards therapeutic wisdom. I have 25 years in art and equine therapeutic, experiential educational programming and 18 years of equine-facilitated methods for growth, learning, and counseling. I earned my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialty in Children, Marriage, & Family Counseling in 2022. I have been certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) since 2014 and by the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) since 2011. “Through calming the nervous system, regulating emotions and energy, and ultimately on finding moments of joy, lightness and hope, I can help you move forward differently.”

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My personal journey through trauma, pain, grief, loss, transition, single parenthood, enhance my ability to connect with and support others facing similar issues. Because of my past experiences, I bring empathy, authenticity and compassion to my practice. It is an honor to work with clients from across the lifespan and gender spectrum with a variety of concerns and backgrounds. I support youth ages 6+, adults, couples, families, veterans, military and first responders. With locations in both Whatcom & Snohomish Counties, I have a tremendous amount of flexibility to meet you in a place that is most comfortable to you.
