About My Clients
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed by life’s unexpected earthquakes—whether that’s a major life transition, trauma, or the heavy weight of anxiety and depression. Many of my clients feel stuck, hyper-vigilant, or confused by their own emotions, often wondering if they are "losing their mind." If you feel like your foundation has shifted and you are standing in the rubble asking where do I even start?, I am here to walk alongside you as you rebuild safety, clarity, and peace.
My Background and Approach
As a licensed therapist, I specialize in trauma, EMDR, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in a simple, compassionate truth: you are not broken. You were born with the innate ability to adapt and cope, but life's storms can leave your foundation shaken and the debris overwhelming. In our sessions, you won't experience a rigid interrogation. Instead, we engage in a warm, collaborative process. First, we stabilize your environment and quiet your nervous system so you feel safe in your body today. Then, using evidence-based tools like EMDR alongside practical, strength-based therapy, we systematically sift through the wreckage. Together, we decide what to keep, repair, or let go of. Whether we are clearing away surface anxiety or doing deep work to reinforce your core foundation, my goal is to help you process past pain, reclaim your agency, and feel completely at home in your own skin again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
"Crazy" is a feeling, not a diagnosis. I fundamentally believe that every overwhelming emotion and confusing behavior makes perfect sense once we understand the context of your life. Human beings are evolutionary masters of adaptation; what you see as a weakness or a breakdown is often just a survival tool your mind created to protect you during a massive "life quake." You were born into this world with everything you need to live your best, healthiest life. You do not need to be "fixed" or given a whole new identity—you simply need space to remember your own resilience. I believe that even the parts of yourself you currently dislike have the capacity to serve you under the right circumstances. No matter how fractured things feel right now, the aftermath of a storm is not the end of your story. It is the beginning of rebuilding. You are stronger than you know, you are worthy of peace, and you don't have to carry the weight of the storm all by yourself.
