About My Clients
My work focuses on exploring and understanding a client’s personal values and goals as an anchor point from which to move through challenges toward what matters most to them. I believe the client is the expert on their own life and that through a strong and collaborative therapeutic alliance people can be transformed and healed.
My Background and Approach
I came to this work the long way ‘round and bring a great deal of life experience to my practice as a counselor. I believe passionately that, sometimes, we need to have someone in our corner who can provide for us a place to go where we can show up as we are, where we are. I am committed to helping adults process and heal life’s challenges so they can come to know and accept themselves and create a life that is rich and meaningful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Utilizing a humanistic strengths-based approach, it is my goal to provide clients with a warm and safe space to explore what is important to them and the tools to build a life they love.
