About My Clients
Many of the people I work with have spent so much time trying to manage their emotions that they've lost touch with themselves. I believe healing begins when we approach our emotions with curiosity and compassion instead of fighting them. I love helping clients reconnect with themselves, understand what their emotions are trying to communicate, and build a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with what matters most to them.
My Background and Approach
You know yourself better than anyone, and I believe therapy should start there. I take a person-centered approach, meeting you where you are and taking the time to understand your story and what you need. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT, but the most important part is finding what works for you. Together, we’ll work toward understanding yourself, healing from what you’ve experienced, and creating meaningful change. I also offer Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy for those who may benefit from a more hands-on approach. Sometimes experiencing something rather than simply talking about it can open up a different kind of understanding. Working alongside horses can help you slow down, connect with your emotions, and explore trust, boundaries, communication, and relationships in a new way. No matter what therapy looks like for you, we’ll take it one step at a time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe nothing is too big to heal from. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and begin making sense of what you’ve been carrying. I take a person-centered approach, meeting you where you are and working together to find what feels most helpful for you. I draw from different therapeutic approaches, but more than anything, I want our work to feel like a space where you can be honest, feel supported, and take steps toward feeling more connected to yourself and your life.
