About My Clients

I have a gentle and loving approach, while also knowing when to challenge you or call you out on your blind spots. I will show up with compassion, empathy, understanding, and acceptance. Together, through a supportive and authentic relationship, we will help you work through your struggles, rediscover you inner strength, and bring the unconscious to light, so that you can live your best, grooviest life. I also provide virtual Ketamine Assisted Therapy for those who are seeking that option.

My Background and Approach

My approach is eclectic, so the way therapy plays out in the room will be tailored to you and your unique needs. I take into account your personal world view, including but not limited to your culture, race/ethnicity, sexuality, spirituality/religion (or lack thereof), gender expression, etc. I’m a firm believer that allowing humor, laughter, and cursing (if that's your thing) in the room is a crucial part of healing. As a depth therapist, my goal is to help you bring to light those parts of the self that have been hidden in the unconscious, and blocks that may be getting in the way of you being the most authentic you. This involves a process of developing a trusting, supportive and secure relationship in which you will, over time, gain greater awareness of your programming from early childhood experiences, heal old wounds in that are keeping you stuck, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, why you are the way you are, and how that person is totally awesome!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that life is one long learning experience, and that growing and changing for the better is possible at any stage. By learning to accept, express, and love your authentic self, the things that make you different and special, you can gain the greatest fulfillment in life. Through my own therapy I've learned how to keep depressive and anxious thoughts at bay, and see life in a more positive light. I want to help my clients find more confidence, hope, and inner peace. On a personal level, I am strongly in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and strive to be anti-racist through consistently educating myself about the experiences of the black community, oppression, and how to use my white privilege to take part in dismantling the system of white supremacy. I am an ally for the LGBTQIA community, and believe that gender is a social construct, sexuality is a spectrum, and love is love. I volunteer with transitional youth and underserved communities in my spare time.
