About My Clients
I work with clients who have experienced some sort of trauma related to their family of origin or relationships. I also work with folks on concerns like grief, anxiety, panic attacks, life transitions, or stress. I have additional training in play therapy and experience working with kids, teens, and adolescents. When working with kiddos, some common concerns I see come up are emotion regulation, social skills, grief and loss, and family dynamics.
My Background and Approach
I provide a compassionate, empathetic, non-judgmental approach where I allow you to direct the session. I believe humans grow through and toward connection and that connection is necessary throughout the lifespan to not only thrive but to survive. I will utilize the therapeutic relationship as an agent of change and catalyst to help folks to form more meaningful connections outside of therapy. I practice cultural humility and provide an inclusive and accepting environment to all cultures and identities.
