My Background and Approach
In a supportive non judgmental down-to-earth atmosphere I believe in complete transparency and fully engaging each client to ensure a person centered approach to treatment and goal setting. I work with individuals, families, and couples through a HIPPA secure online portal, or in a warm and welcoming home-like office environment. I specialize in several areas including women's issues, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, emotional distress, trauma, coping and problem solving skills, anger management, and people struggling with their day-to-day emotions and stressful situations that impact well being and decision making.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand the unique needs of adolescents and their families during their important yet difficult transformative years, while assisting them to find themselves and their path and life. I believe in straightforward discussions about family, family conflict, life, love, stress, bullying, emotional regulation, oppositional behavior, social awkwardness, low self esteem, and feeling overwhelmed or out of control with day-to-day life demands. Together I will help you work towards learning self awareness, identify and supportively eliminate negative beliefs that promote self doubt, self devaluing thoughts, behaviors, and fears, all while learning to communicate more openly and effectively, promoting a sense of growth, independence, problem solving, coping skills, resiliency, and an over all healthy wellbeing.
