About My Clients
Welcome, I'm so glad you're here. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with almost a decade of experience in the mental health field. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, college students, and women with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, hair pulling, skin picking, phobias, trauma, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADS).
My Background and Approach
I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), the Comprehensive Behavioral Model (ComB), and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I have completed certification training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity to learn and grow and overcome their mental health symptoms, whether you're living with OCD, anxiety, skin picking, hair pulling, postpartum issues, or some other concern that is making your life more difficulty. I am confident the human capacity for growth and change because I have lived experience with many of the issues that my client's face and have learned that it is possible to live without these issues taking hold on your life, even when they continue to be present.
