About My Clients
Are you struggling with a pattern of over-extending yourself? Do you find yourself taking care of others, sometimes at your own expense? Do you often struggle with saying "no" & with stopping the worrying/ planning? Have you noticed often feeling tired, irritable, burned out, & possibly resentful? How about frequent headaches, stomach issues & body aches?
My Background and Approach
I value curiosity, authenticity, and compassion to create a space where learning, healing and growing occurs. My goal is to support my clients as we have some challenging conversations to work toward increased understanding into themselves, accountability for their role in situations, rewriting parts of that non-stop inner monologue, strengthening their [external] voice, and ultimately improving their overall quality of life to feel less stressed and more at peace. I’m a big fan of discussing concrete tools and in providing resources. I enjoy reading mental health related books, walking, a good meme, puppy cuddles, and meditating (slightly less enjoyable but the benefits are real!). The most important part, and often a very challenging part, of the work is finding the right therapist-client pair.
