About My Clients
I work with preteens, teens, and adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to move forward. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, develop coping skills, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) with experience working with individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, dual diagnosis, self-harm, suicidal ideation, grief, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is tailored to each client's unique needs and draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, and person-centered therapy. I believe that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship combined with practical tools that clients can apply in everyday life. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the future, I will work alongside you to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, improve self-awareness, and move toward the life you want to create.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, regardless of their background or life experiences. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves and explore their challenges openly. I value authenticity, connection, and the belief that people are capable of growth and healing, even during difficult seasons of life. I am passionate about helping individuals build resilience, develop self-compassion, and recognize their strengths. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, listening to music, and making memories with family and friends. These experiences help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and finding joy in everyday life.
