About My Clients
You are busy, maybe have a career, a spouse and you rely upon self-help sources. Lying awake at night and fading off at meetings shows you need more help. Life is not exciting and feel like you live in a bubble. Trauma memories need attention, anger flare ups are common and you are not happy with you. Psychodynamic, solution-focus, and IFS helps improve internal communication and external. Together we learn about you and work to eliminate the symptoms and discomfort. You become your Self again!
My Background and Approach
I've a varied life beginning as a music major, serving in the Air Force, a mom of 3, one a special needs child, and a medical assistant before finding my place as a helper/healer through relationships and thought processes with psychology. I continue evolving and learning, integrating my enthusiasm for nutrition and farming into my professional life serving adults whose journey through trauma, anxiety, anger, losses, relationships and depression needs a makeover. Together we pull your Self forward and create the confidence, curiosity, and compassion to lead your life successfully. We work outside of the box and the typical office. Our meetings can happen online, with family and friends or individually. Together, I'll have you learn more about yourself, your reactions and things you want to strengthen or improve. This active approach moves with the pace of your life and part of it instead of in a dark, secretive corner.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold integrity as a top characteristic for me and others. Who are you when no one is watching? Next comes trust. A vital piece of all healthy relationships and must be practiced within your Self . Further, there's nothing embarrassing about asking for help and leaning on a shoulder. Compassion, curiosity, calmness, care, and empathy are daily essentials for self-leadership and success. When you possess these, you are able to share the same. Another building block is incorporating and evaluating healthy boundaries with everyone with whom you interact. Having hard lines and soft lines and remaining true to yourself is a non-negotiable. Knowing myself in this way came about through the struggles and experiences I endured. Add in a mix of humor, learning new things, and taking some risks help to create balance. If these sound like areas you wish to learn or explore, strengthen or understand, I invite you for a comfortable chat.
