About My Clients
My clients are teens, adults, and couples navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, grief, betrayal, or identity shifts. Many come feeling overwhelmed or stuck—and leave feeling more grounded, connected, and empowered. Whether you're facing a big change, unraveling old patterns, or just trying to find peace, I can be a source of support.
My Background and Approach
Before founding Therapy-Tree and providing private therapy, I worked as a school counselor for many years—an experience that deeply shaped my ability to support teens, families, and individuals navigating complex emotional terrain. My therapy approach blends advanced trainings in EMDR, CPT, TF-CBT, and the Gottman Method. I specialize in trauma, grief, couples, betrayal, and identity shifts (such as NPE). My approach is warm and grounded, combining real-life experience with evidence-based tools to help clients feel seen, safe, and supported in this process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a strong believer in equity, inclusion, and human dignity. I support the LGBTQIA+ community and stand for racial justice and the inherent worth of all people. I strive to create a space where clients of all backgrounds feel safe, respected, and empowered. I value progressive ideals, including women’s rights, mental health access, and the importance of bodily autonomy. My practice is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing thrives in an environment of acceptance.
