My Personal Beliefs and Interests
AMR Therapy was founded in 2018 by a passionate queer female therapist who tirelessly works to create accessible, affordable, and high-quality mental health care for all. Recognizing the dire need for inclusive services, our founder set out on a mission to ensure that marginalized individuals and communities could find the support they deserve. Having witnessed the underrepresentation and invisibility of certain populations within the mental health care system, our founder was motivated by a deep sense of purpose to make a meaningful impact. From its humble beginnings with a single provider, AMR Therapy has grown while steadfastly maintaining its commitment to remaining a small practice. This intentional choice allows us to nurture a close-knit community and uphold our social justice mission.
