I specialize in dealing with adults dealing with workplace issues, toxic boss, job burnout, everyday stressors, depression, anxiety/obsessive worry, unhealthy boundaries, lacking work/life balance, relationship issues, 1st responders/families, coping w/ conflict/criticism/difficult people, dysfunctional family, shame/guilt, healing past pain/hurts & losses. Trauma/PTSD. Chronic Pain.
My Background and Approach
I truly LOVE what I do and feel very passionate about helping my patients identify the current obstacles & any negative thinking patterns that are keeping them stuck. I help them learn ways to challenge their negative self-talk and improve coping skills for everyday stressors, for an overall goal to improve their quality of life. I use CBT-(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Reality Based, Compassion, Problem Solving & Psychoeducational approaches to help my patients identify & learn to challenge their negative self-talk/distorted thinking & unhealthy behavior patterns that have been keeping them stuck. The goal is to develop better coping strategies, improve stress & mood mgmt skills.

My goal & approach to counseling is to meet my patient's where they are at and give them compassion, empathy with no judgement, guidance, psychoeducation & teach healthy coping strategies to help them better cope in their current situation. -I have been worked in management & have experience in Corporate America -I have experience with First Responders & their families -History in Crisis Counseling & Suicide Crisis Planning -Specialize in dealing with adults with no previous mental health treatment -Psychoeducation on topics like-Mood Mgmt., Depression/Anxiety/Worry Boundaries, Assumptions/Perceptions/Expectations, Cognitive Distortions, Coping w/ Conflict/Criticism, Dealing w/ Difficult/Toxic/Narcissistic People, Grief/Loss, Shame/Guilt, Rebuilding Self-Esteem/Confidence, Wellness/Self-Care, Communication Skills/Assertiveness, Anger Mgmt., Goal Setting, Building on Strengths, Positive Affirmations, Gratitude Journalling, Mindfulness, Dysfunctional Family Traits & Healing from past.
