About My Clients
My practice is primarily online to allow my patients the flexibility to do therapy at a time and in a way that works for them. I do Video, Phone, and live text based sessions. Are you a mom of a special needs child who is feeling overwhelmed and knows that they need support but isn’t able to leave the kids, and you don’t know where to start? I’ve been there, and I am here to help you take care of you! I will give you the tools to help you be the wife/mom/person you want to be!
My Background and Approach
The tools that I will give you are things that I’ve been developing and using through personal and professional experience for years. I am a special needs mom as well, and I know what has worked for me l, as well as others. With that being said, there isn’t one thing that works for everyone all the time. I believe that it’s important for us to work together to find out what works for you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have twins who were adopted at birth and are now 18. This is what has led me into Social Work and it has become one of my passions. At 3 years old my daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This changed our lives forever. It led me to wanting to help other special needs moms, and give them the outlet and tools to help them to learn how to take care of themselves while taking care of their kiddos. So many times we put ourselves so far down on the priority list that we aren’t even on on it. The fact is that if we don’t take care of ourselves, we won’t be able to take care of our kids.
