About My Clients
The clients I see often experience anxiety and stress related to women's and LGBTQIA+ issues, as well as the current political climate. I enjoy collaborating with clients to increase their self-esteem, coping skills, and ability to set boundaries.
My Background and Approach
I work from a feminist empowerment perspective, believing that often our stress or anxiety stems from the expectations that society has placed upon us. We can examine the ways gender and societal expectations and your various identities intersect with the concepts of privilege and power. By highlighting your unique strengths, we'll work together toward the empowered, authentic life you want to live.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert of your world and that the therapeutic relationship is an equal and collaborative one. My goal is to hold space for you in which authenticity, vulnerability, and real change are possible. (And a dash of humor, too!)
