About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients who are feeling stuck or are in a transitional place. From career changes and parenthood to addiction recovery and identity exploration, I support people through feelings of shame and loneliness, who are seeking to reconnect to their core selves, build relationships, and unveil rich and meaningful lives.
My Background and Approach
My background is in community mental health and social justice, and I specialize in substance use and trauma. I have worked in jails, clinics, and residential treatment programs. My approach is collaborative and utilizes a trauma-informed, strengths-based framework, integrating Expressive Arts Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, as well as Eco-Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves opportunities to heal and to turn toward themselves. Through curiosity and exploration, by using nature, art, and story, people are able to discover how courageous they are, how resilient they are, how brilliant they are. I identify as a queer, single mother in recovery from substance use and trauma. If you'd like to talk more about working together, send me a message.
