About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I graduated from Capella University with a Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also graduated from Florida A&M University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. While working on my undergraduate degree I worked with the Upward Bound program located in Jacksonville, FL at Edward Waters University. I work from a systemic framework which allows me to look at your life and values as a whole and how they are affecting you. As we work together to overcome the challenges and celebrate the successes I provide an empathetic, affirming, and judgement free zone where you feel safe and heard to explore yourself in therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that growth is ever-evolving and change is not easy. As your therapist I will work with you to find ways to implement the changes you want to see in your life; I work with you to understand your beliefs and values while introducing new ways of thinking . I believe therapy is a tool that can be used to help you find your most authentic self and live life unapologetically. I would be happy to help you live a life that is authentic to you.
