I am passionate about: Children and Families involved in foster care and adoption, Individuals affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, Families experiencing trauma and relational distress. My goal is not just to help you heal, but to empower you to thrive.
My Background and Approach
With over 15 years of experience in child welfare, I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s journey. My style is collaborative, non-judgmental, and rooted in empathy. I integrate modalities such as: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Attachment-Based Therapy Brain-Based and Strengths-Based approaches You can expect genuine, grounded, and growth-oriented support in our sessions. I will gently help you re-frame challenges, identify strengths, and try new strategies while reminding you that you control your story. With over 15 years of experience in child welfare, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of trauma, substance exposure, and system involvement on children and their families. I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master’s in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University.
