My Background and Approach
Amelia appreciates an insight-oriented approach to counseling. This approach seeks to help individuals understand some of their underlying motivations concerning why we “act” the way we do. The counseling modalities she uses are Psychodynamic therapy, Emotion- Focused Therapy, and Attachment theory. Amelia also uses yoga and mindfulness in her practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Amelia is excited to partner with her clients to create a therapeutic relationship that creates lasting change. She aims to help all that enter her space process feelings, identify underlying motivations and strategies to promote health. Please feel free to reach out to Amelia directly for any questions you may have about the counseling process.
