My Background and Approach

Amelia appreciates an insight-oriented approach to counseling. This approach seeks to help individuals understand some of their underlying motivations concerning why we “act” the way we do. The counseling modalities she uses are Psychodynamic therapy, Emotion- Focused Therapy, and Attachment theory. Amelia also uses yoga and mindfulness in her practice.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Amelia is excited to partner with her clients to create a therapeutic relationship that creates lasting change.
