My approach to treating anxiety is multi-faceted and rooted in the therapeutic relationship. I draw from CBT to build skills and challenge unhelpful thoughts, while also incorporating mindfulness-based stress reduction and exploration of the mind-body connection. I help clients notice where anxiety shows up in the body, practice releasing tension, and provide psychoeducation around the body's stress responses.

Therapy is an excellent space to explore the roots of relationship challenges, practice building healthier connections, and heal from past relational wounds. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful tool for growth, but I also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment-based therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy to offer a more holistic approach.

My psychodynamic approach focuses on exploring how past experiences and relationships shape current patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating. Together, we bring insight to these underlying dynamics so you can gain clarity, resolve old wounds, and create healthier ways of engaging in the present.

I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can fully explore your thoughts and feelings. With warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity, I help you connect more deeply with yourself and move toward healing and growth.

With ACT, I help clients notice and accept difficult thoughts and emotions without being ruled by them. Together, we clarify what truly matters to you and build skills to take meaningful action aligned with your values, even in the face of stress, anxiety, or self-doubt.
