About My Clients
Complex, Acute, and Chronic Trauma, High-Functioning Autism (ASD), Women and Girls with ADHD, Cross-Cultural Stress, Fatigue or Burnout, First Responders Working with people who feel like an outsider because of their life or internal experiences is my favorite clientele. Witnessing someone understand their value and potential regardless of perceived or real differences is sacred.
My Background and Approach
Before opening my private practice, I worked in various roles in women's prisons, teen centers, indigenous tribes, and community health centers. Each place challenged and helped me develop unique skills. I continually seek trainings and read newly released research on my areas of focus. Neuroscience and biology inform my work and I will encourage my clients to seek collaboration with their primary care physician (doctor) to maximize results. My approach is eclectic—I use the methods I’ve been trained in that are best suited to your current needs. This could include Internal Family Systems, Somatic, Goals and Strategies, The Flash Technique, Narrative, and most importantly - general systems therapy. I have witnessed the impact of family therapy and it is undeniably the best way to achieve optimal results.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every human deserves dignity and an opportunity to reach their potential.
