About My Clients
My ideal client is a member of the LGBTQ+ community and/or someone who is navigating the stressors of today's world resulting in stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the like. I work best with a client that is eager to learn and is in the preparation stage of stage, attending sessions regularly and on time. I appreciate those who are able to take accountability and are able to sit in the uncomfortable and humility that comes with vulnerability!
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing as a therapist since 2023 after receiving my Masters at University of Michigan in late 2022. In my therapy practice, I integrate a variety of modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. I am trained in EMDR, and I am also working on my IFSTTC certification which will be completed in June of 2026. My work is grounded in a trauma-focused lens and a person-centered approach, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about creating a safe and open-minded space for all identities in my therapy. I believe the most important aspect when it comes to therapy is having it be collaborative, empathetic, and a safe space for you to share. I have experience working with young adults who present with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and suicidal ideation. I also assist with LGBTQIA+ identities and transitions. I look at each symptom that the individual presents through a trauma-focused lens. Outside of work, I enjoy cuddling my three cats, watching crime shows, and playing videogames.
