About My Clients
I help clients that are consumed with anxious thoughts and feel overwhelmed from stress. I can help you with stress from trauma, relationships, pressure from goals, work, and much more. I also help clients that use alcohol or drugs to cope with stress or anxiety. Let’s work together to help you overcome your stress and teach you relaxing ways to calm yourself. When we work together, you will learn your triggers, gain control over your emotions, and feel confident about your life choices.
My Background and Approach
I use thought and goal focused therapy with relaxation techniques. Together, we will identify your thoughts and unwanted behaviors. When using this approach, we reflect back on situations that cause you stress, anxiety, or substance use. We will talk about how this situation has effected your life and help you learn why you reacted the way you did. Once you identify the problem then we can move on to make changes that best suit you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe as a client you have the power within yourself to make changes, but sometimes we just get stuck in a cycle of stressful situations and use unhealthy ways to cope. I enjoy helping clients realize their inner strength because as a wife and mother with a busy career I know first hand how stressful life can get.
