About My Clients
Many of my clients appear to have it all together on the outside, yet privately feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change. You may struggle with perfectionism, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or the lasting effects of childhood or attachment wounds. Perhaps you’re highly capable but constantly overthinking, carrying the weight of others’ expectations, or wondering why insight alone hasn’t created lasting change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I specialize in attachment trauma, Parts Work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depression, mood disorders, perfectionism, and high-functioning ADHD. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked in residential substance recovery, community mental health, foster care, and private practice. Together, we’ll explore the parts of you that have learned to protect, perform, or avoid, while developing practical skills that help you respond to life’s challenges with greater flexibility and resilience. My goal is to help you heal old wounds, strengthen your relationships, and build a life that feels authentic and aligned with your values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being human is one of the most frustrating and fascinating states of being I've ever experienced. I grew up with depression always lurking about, making adolescence hard and adulthood difficult. I have spent many years recovering and learning my own dark parts, making me adept to hiking heavy forests. I am good at being a guide and a smile when things feel weary. I know what it's like on the other side of sad. So, come along, come play.
