Through teaching emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance skills, client's can reduce the amount of anxiety that they experience overall.

By creating a safe space for individuals to explore the cycles of abuse, as well safety planning, client's are able to explore their own ability to overcome cycles of abuse and create more positive and fulfilling lives away from abuse.

Individuals who suffer from PTSD will likely feel stuck in the trauma. I will use evidenced-based based approaches to effectively assist clients in processing their experiences and creating more adaptive coping skills in order to create the type of change they desperately need in their life. I use multiple modalities, including EMDR, to achieve this.
