About My Clients
Supporting the LGBTQ+ community is my passion and strength. I help clients explore trauma responses, anxieties, and relational patterns that impact self-esteem, identity, and connection. I support those working to release perfectionism, move beyond people-pleasing, build self-trust, and create healthier relationships. I offer convenient, online services to clients located in PSYPACT states. Check here to see if your state is participating: https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap
My Background and Approach
We all have parts of us that we struggle with accepting or we simply ignore, and my approach can help you better understand, make space for, and even befriend these parts to feel more integrated. As a trauma-informed therapist, I bring a grounded and compassionate presence to my sessions. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety and panic, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and identity exploration. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about yourself in a new way, I provide a safe and collaborative space to explore what’s coming up. My style is warm and open, guided by curiosity and respect for your unique experience. I’m not afraid to bring in a bit of humor or offer gentle, compassionate challenges when it’s helpful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My belief is that clients are the experts on their lives and my role is more like a navigation system: here to offer guidance, reflection, and support as you chart your own path. I also understand how difficult it can be to access that inner wisdom. Trauma, systemic oppression, shame—these are just a few of the many forces that can create distance between us and our sense of self. I approach therapy with cultural humility and I strive to create a space that is inclusive and affirming. I welcome conversations about the social, cultural, and systemic factors that impact your mental and emotional health. I am a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, and I honor the many different ways people think, feel, and experience the world. Outside of sessions, I’m often learning about astrology, experimenting in the kitchen, or hanging out with my pup, Tofu.
