From dysphoria to dysmorphia, I work with clients to explore the psycho-social-political identity of their respective bodies. My goal is to work with clients to feel at home in their bodies in an affirming, trauma-informed space.

I have extensive experience working with clients in recovery from clinical eating disorders. I also work with clients on diet recovery, intuitive eating, and challenging food rules. Please note: it is highly recommended that you work with a registered dietitian. If you don't have dietetic insurance coverage, private pay options at Water's Edge are available. Clients who don't have dietitian coverage but have intensive outpatient coverage qualify for RD services.

I work with individuals struggling with work stress and burnout—particularly other therapists, social workers, and healthcare providers. Together, we'll explore what keeps you feeling stuck in your career and break down your goals into small, incremental steps.

I use mindfulness therapy in tandem with other forms of talk therapy to help clients develop an awareness of their thoughts and emotions. What I like about mindfulness is the freedom to exist in one's body and to feel one's feelings without assigning judgment.

As a sensorimotor therapist, I'll ask you a lot of questions about what you notice going on in your body: your emotions, your thoughts, your 5 senses, and physical sensations. I will work with you to recognize how your body communicates its emotions to you with the goal of being able to articulate your feelings and better manage physical responses to events or strong emotions.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Enhanced (CBT-E) for eating disorders is one of the leading forms of eating disorder treatment. We have no control over our feelings, but CBT-E guides you to challenge the beliefs associated with those feelings. We will challenge the myths around food, diet, and bodies to work towards a belief system that welcomes body diversity, food variety, and self-worth.
