About My Clients
Providing fully virtual psychotherapy, I work with adults on body image issues, eating disorders, anxiety, self-compassion, and grief. I am also the lead therapist in the virtual adult eating disorder intensive outpatient program. While Water's Edge has providers trained in spiritual counseling for clients (upon request), I do not offer Christian integration. Contact Water's Edge Counseling & Healing Center (952-898-5020) to schedule with me.
My Background and Approach
I employ a combination of psychoeducation, mindfulness-based stress reduction, ACT, and cognitive behavioral techniques in a casual telehealth environment that is free from judgment and stigma. I am also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for addressing trauma symptoms. My approach is also accepting and affirming of all identities. Together, we will learn your body’s emotional cues and develop skills to soothe those emotions when needed, break down your bigger problems into smaller solutions, reconnect with your values, and create space to talk about your barriers without fear. I will work with you to find manageable ways to move forward and uncover your authentic self. Our intensive outpatient eating disorder program is accepting clients immediately. You are worthy of this level of care. Please reach out to our front office for an assessment with me at 952-898-5020.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my honor to welcome every part of you into this space. I can commit to a calm and casual presence, a wacky sense of humor (if you want it), and a high tolerance for swear words.
