About My Clients
Many of my clients come to me because they are dealing with a significant life change - a breakup, divorce, starting college, or searching for a new career, and are looking to discover, rediscover, or reinvent themselves. They stay in therapy because they find such benefit in having a neutral sounding board to help navigate through all of life’s intricacies.
My Background and Approach
My hope is to make the therapy process as uncomplicated and comforting as possible. Our first few sessions will focus on what you hope to gain from therapy, as well as making sure you feel comfortable with the process. I have worked in the mental wellness field for almost 20 years, working with both children and adults with many different backgrounds and concerns. I am a huge fan of utilizing solution-focused therapy, meaning, let’s focus on the things we can work on to get to feeling better as soon as possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe everyone can benefit from therapy! My years in practice have shown me that we cannot be emotionally well if the most basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing aren’t being met, which is why I am also passionate about ending hunger.
