About My Clients

My Background and Approach
My background is in cognitive behavioral therapy. I have a certification in trauma-focused therapy, and I have been helping adolescents, adults and families for the last ten plus years. I have experience supporting people through their challenges with anxiety, behavioral disorders, depression, and trauma. I also have an online membership program, theanxietylab.com. I provide monthly coaching through pre recorded courses, work books, a private online community and live workshops.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's one thing to acknowledge that you're struggling and need help. It's another to find the right helper - especially if you've never done this before. I am friendly, observant, honest, compassionate and kind, and I bring each of these to my counseling relationships. As an individual, I know what it's like to experience, loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. As a professional, I am skilled at helping people like you navigate these very normal but difficult parts of living. I believe every person has the power within to overcome and manage life obstacles, yet we don’t always know how to access it. Our minds work vigorously to heal itself. Together we will give it the permission to process, move forward, and thrive.
