About My Clients
I specialize in working with teens and adults who experience issues with stress, self-esteem/confidence, anxiety, family conflict, depression, grief/loss, and trauma (I'm trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
My Background and Approach
I graduated summa cum laude from Barry University with a Master of Social Work. I've worked in different areas of practice, including community mental health, addictions, and children and families. I strive to be my most authentic self and when appropriate, sprinkle in some humor into our sessions. I work from a strength-based and solution focused approach. I tap into your existing inner strengths and use those to help you figure out solutions and come up with strategies. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Fucused Therapy, and Mindfulness.
