About My Clients
You’ve spent years putting everyone else first. Now you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure if healing is even possible. Many of my clients come to therapy after a lifetime of people-pleasing, surviving trauma, or being “the strong one.” The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone. I help people reconnect with their bodies, rediscover their power, and build safe, mutual relationships. Together, we’ll explore old patterns with care and curiosity so you can finally feel seen.
My Background and Approach
My approach is relational and trauma-informed, creating a safe, personalized space where the therapy room becomes a reflection of how you engage with the world around you. Together, we’ll explore the relationships that shaped you, especially the early ones, and begin to understand how those dynamics may still be influencing your self-worth, boundaries, and sense of connection today. I integrate psychodynamic and sensorimotor techniques to bring the body into the conversation, not just the mind. This might include breathwork, body scans, or grounding movements, nothing forced or rigid, just gentle invitations to reconnect with yourself in ways that feel healing. You’d be amazed at how much the body can carry without us even realizing it. Our work isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about helping you feel truly seen, valued, and supported as you move toward lasting emotional freedom and self-trust.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that while we may not have had control over what happened to us growing up, we do have the power to choose how we heal as adults. I hold deep respect for each person’s capacity for change, and I believe that with greater awareness, empathy, and support, healing becomes not only possible, but transformative. As an active member of Texas SAIGE, I’ve served as both an Emerging Leader and now a Board Trustee. Through advocacy at the Texas Capitol and ongoing community engagement, I work to create meaningful change for LGBTQ+ Texans. I also maintain membership with the Texas Counseling Association and consistently attend professional development conferences to ensure I’m offering the most current, effective care to my clients.
