About My Clients
Do you feel disconnected? Anxious? or have questions about your identity and or relationships? In the beginning of treatment, I tend to ask questions to help me get to know you. I hope to invite all aspects of you and over time collaborate to create a space safe enough for you to give voice to parts of you that have not had a chance to speak out loud. I often work with people who identify as people pleasing and are curious to explore the impact of their experiences and find space for change.
My Background and Approach
My credentials are MA, ATR-BC, LCAT, CASAC-T. This means that I have a Masters of Art degree in Art Therapy, I am a nationally registered art therapist (ATR), and I am a board certified (BC) by the Art Therapy Credentials Board. I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) in New York State by the NY State Department of Education under the category of Mental Health Practitioners. I am also a certified alcohol and substance abuse counselor trainee (CASAC-T). Additionally I have five years of postgraduate training at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, and Psychology. My practice incorporates relational, psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, humanistic, culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed approaches to treatment.
