I draw from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and Mindfulness-based approaches. I also believe in the importance of fostering a holistic approach to well-being, recognizing the mind-body connection and the impact of our environment on our mental health.

As a clinical social worker, I recognize that my identity and life experiences play a significant role in enriching my work. My own journey of overcoming personal challenges has allowed me to develop deep empathy and understanding for the struggles my clients may face. Additionally, I value cultural competence and continually strive to create an inclusive and affirming space for individuals from diverse backgrounds. My experiences have influenced my perspective and understanding of various societal and systemic factors that can impact mental health.
