My Background and Approach
I have been providing counseling for over 24 years. My counseling style is warm and calming, and solution focused. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT, and person centered therapy. I focus on building a therapeutic relationship so that my client will feel comfortable sharing their fears, worries, and concerns. I also focus on teaching coping skills and developing a plan for self care activities.
