About My Clients
My clients know something has to change, they're just not always sure where to start. They've been the dependable one, the peacekeeper, the person who holds everything together while quietly falling apart. Some are leaving relationships that left them questioning their own reality. Others are tracing patterns back to childhood and finally making sense of them. All of them are learning, often for the first time, that they matter too.
My Background and Approach
The patterns that brought you here made sense once, they kept you safe, kept relationships intact, kept things running. But what worked then is costing you now. I work with adults untangling codependency, recovering from narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships, and learning that their needs actually matter. Many grew up in homes where love felt conditional or spent years in relationships where their reality was constantly questioned. That leaves a mark. My approach is CBT-based and collaborative, with an existential lens meaning we work on the thoughts and patterns keeping you stuck while also asking the bigger questions: Who are you outside the roles you play? What do you actually want? Sessions are telehealth, warm, and direct. I'll meet you where you are without letting you stay comfortable in what's hurting you. You've spent enough time putting yourself last.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the people I work with are not broken, they're adaptive. The patterns that cause pain in adulthood usually started as survival strategies, and there's nothing wrong with the person who learned them. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real relationship. That means I show up genuinely, I'll be honest with you, and I won't pretend to be a blank slate. You deserve a therapist who's actually present. I believe your needs are not too much. That's not just something I say; it's something I'll reflect back to you consistently until you start to believe it yourself. I believe healing isn't linear and progress doesn't always look tidy. Some sessions will feel productive. Others will feel slow. Both are part of the work. And I believe you already have more capacity for change than you're giving yourself credit for. My job isn't to fix you, it's to help you see what's already there.
