About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults seeking thoughtful psychiatric care and medication management through telehealth across New Mexico and Colorado. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood changes, OCD, behavioral challenges, or life transitions. I also offer neurofeedback for individuals interested in a brain-based approach that may support attention, emotional regulation, sleep, and resilience alongside traditional psychiatric care.
My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency nursing, education, and healthcare quality management prior to specializing in psychiatry; I obtained my MSN from Colorado State University-Pueblo. My approach focuses on thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and helping people understand how their brain and treatment options work. I value collaborative, individualized care and take time to explore medical, psychological, and life factors that influence mental health. I also offer neurofeedback as an additional tool to support emotional regulation, focus, and overall brain health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care works best when it is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in both science and compassion. Each person’s brain, history, and life circumstances are unique, and treatment should reflect that. My goal is to help people better understand their symptoms, their treatment options, and the biological and psychological factors that influence their mental health so they can make informed decisions about their care.
