About My Clients
Braving the world’s questions and constant change can feel immensely overwhelming at times. You don’t know where to begin to make positive changes in your life. You are not alone in feeling this way. Challenges in life are to be expected, but suffering is not. With support, new perspectives and kindness we can work together to create a safe space for positive change. While therapy should always be a forward progress, the pace of each person's therapy should be suited to the individual.
My Background and Approach
The skills we work to develop will help benefit you throughout life. My goal for you is to have numerous skills and tools you can rely on as you grow in life and face challenges head on. I have attended trainings to hone coping techniques for numerous life changes and ways to challenge destructive thinking. We'll discuss and explore ways to adjust and change your mindset to create healthier and more positive ways of thinking. You'll gain confidence and strength to tackle any transition with the tools you've developed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a strong advocate of using cognitive behavioral therapy and a strength-based perspective in practice to help individuals develop the techniques, solutions, and answers to overcome obstacles, heal, and become the best versions of themselves they can be. Through a trauma-informed lens, I know that understanding an individual’s life experience is essential in delivering effective care. Through therapy I hope to help to empower the individual and work to create a safe and welcoming space for all to be successful.
