About My Clients
My ideal client is ready to get the root of the challenges they find themselves facing day to day. Maybe you’ve tried other therapies in the past - I typically work with people who have tried different approaches with no luck, and they’re ready to move toward healing in a measurable way. After working with me, clients tend to understand their systems in a new way, and are able to have more compassion for themselves and others, while still holding their their boundaries with self respect.
My Background and Approach
I use an eclectic approach, meaning I engage different types of therapy depending on what I believe will be most helpful given your specific circumstances. I am EMDR trained and Level One IFS trained. In my experience these modalities work well to heal wounds at the core, allowing you to resume a life you love to live. Rather than focusing on behavior, these therapies take advantage of neuroplasticity, and focus on the protective nature behind your behaviors. They work by creating new neural pathways in the brain, leading to more long lasting changes in your life.
