About My Clients
My goal is to help clients examine who they want to be, navigate the path toward that vision, and process the experiences that have shaped them. I center on each client’s needs, creating a space that fosters insight and practical tools so that clients feel more grounded, clear, and aligned with their values. I will meet you with enthusiasm, compassion, empathy, and humor. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and are struggling with a life change.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s in Social Work from University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice. Throughout graduate school training and my career, I have provided mental health services to adolescents and adults facing a wide range of challenges—from academic stress and anxiety to complex trauma. I have also completed advanced certificate trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. In my practice, I have a deep respect for the my clients' diverse culture, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, and physical ability. I center on each client’s needs, creating a space that fosters insight and practical tools so that clients feel more grounded, clear, and aligned with their values. I will meet you with enthusiasm, compassion, empathy, and humor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a native New Yorker, born and raised. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Michigan (Go Blue) and after graduating, lived and worked in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and then returned New York City. I relocated to Boston in 2019 and have been living there since. I cherish the slower pace and the community I have in Boston. In my free time, you can usually find me sipping an overpriced matcha latte, taking walks around my neighborhood, binge-watching fictional crime shows, and at the playground with my toddler. I recently decided to teach myself how to bake and I am finding it much more challenging than I expected.
