About My Clients
Therapy is a process that is unique to each individual. I take the time to meet clients where they are in life to empower them to take control, become more mindful, and improve daily functioning when it comes to interpersonal relationships, work, and overall well-being. My Background and Approach
With my clients I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to encourage clients to become more mindful of the link between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With emphasis on internal dialogue and mindfulness techniques, I work with clients to regulate emotions and take a step back in order to achieve long-term goals, even when the most stressful triggers in life feel unbearable to overcome. By challenging negative self-talk and looking for evidence to dispute and support core beliefs, my goal is to help clients improve self-esteem, feel fulfilled and motivated to work towards life goals, and help reduce judgment when comparing current functioning to the past, as well as reduce fears for the future.
