About My Clients
I have experience working with ages 14 and up, with a primary focus of working with adults. My areas of specialty include mood disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, faith/spiritual issues, trauma/PTSD, criminal/legal issues, parenting and maternal issues and supporting individuals post abortion and the unique issues they may face.
My Background and Approach
As a clinician, I bring a strength-based lens and a warm, non-judgmental presence to every session. I utilize several modalities in my work depending on the unique needs of each client. This often includes a mix of ACT, CBT, and solution-focused work in order to move toward the desired change in clients’ lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I understand how important it is to collaborate with her clients on how to help them reach their goals, as they are the expert of their own journey. Through building a strong therapeutic relationship with all, I am able to guide clients on a path towards healing by gently challenging my clients to take small, agreed upon, action-oriented steps. In this way, I am able able to walk besides others while they write a brighter story for themselves. I, along with Progression Counseling Group, are non-judgmental, empathic, compassionate, mindful, affirming, sensitive, anti-oppressive, and trauma informed. Our office is LBGTQIA+ allied and is known to be open to all ethnicities, nationalities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, alternative relationship styles, and religious/faith preferences. ALL are welcome, ALL will feel safe.
